The Friends of Hickory Nut Gorge advocate for the natural beauty, biodiversity and wildlife habitat, along with the ecological health and integrity of Hickory Nut Gorge.

The Friends of Hickory Nut Gorge urge everyone to consider and support strong county ordinances to protect our steep slopes, mountain ridges and unique biodiversity, particularly in identified natural heritage areas.
